Being on your feet all day, every day, can result in stiffness and sometimes pain after long periods of time. In some instances, this can also lead to injury. Having access to physical therapies can really help to relieve pain, improve your overall mobility and support long-term foot health. Here at Pioneer, we have a dedicated team of podiatrists who are here to provide the right physical therapies to help you with your foot health journey.

Photobiomodulation Therapy, or Cold Laser Therapy, uses light to increase the body’s natural healing abilities in response to swelling, muscular spasms, pain and inflammation. This form of physical therapy also increases oxygen levels for sick and injured cells. Additionally, the skin absorbs LLLT (Low-Level Laser Therapy) when it is applied. This stimulates the body’s immune system, increasing blood supply to damaged cells. It also reduces inflammation, pain, and decreases swelling. The underlying cause or disease is targeted by the Cold Laser Therapy to promote healing, making the results more effective and last longer.

At Pioneer, we are proud to offer Class IV Laser Therapy, which helps with the following:

  • Speeds up wound healing
  • Pain relief
  • Reducing inflammation
  • Reducing swelling
  • Speeds up recovery time post injury/surgery
  • Improved neurological function
  • Boosts the immune system
  • Improved blood circulation
  • Increased joint flexibility
  • Improves endurance and also strength
  • Reduces the likelihood of injury
  • Speeds up recovery time post injury
  • Reduces muscle fatigue
  • Reduces the chance of re-injury

Whether you or a loved one is dealing with podiatry concerns, we’re here to help.
