When it comes to foot support, it’s crucial you have the correct materials and equipment to ensure comfort with every step. If you’re looking for support with correcting foot imbalances, or perhaps improving alignment, we are here to help.

Foot orthoses are widely used in the prevention and treatment of foot and lower limb disorders. At Pioneer, your dedicated clinicians will choose the material’s physical properties and match these to the mechanical and functional needs of the anatomical structure including tissue elasticity.

The prescribing clinician will use either a subtractive or additive manufacturing approach when requesting an orthotic device. All of our clinicians here at Pioneer are trained in the manufacturing and adaptation of foot orthoses and many modifications can be made in the clinic, however, when more permanent modifications/additions are required, these may be sent to one of our partner’s orthotic laboratories.

We are all manufactured uniquely and often require support or components that will provide the correct stiffness required for optimal foot function either when walking or running or even playing sports.

Our clinical team can design and manufacture any kind of orthoses either for improved mechanics or performance, we use the latest clinical material science research data and have our own material database which allows us to match the most appropriate material for the level of elasticity or hydration of your plantar aspect and having reviewed your footwear and pathology, we are able to match the closest material physical properties as we have put all our materials through finite element modeling testing so we can ensure their accurate introduction and selection.

Whether you or a loved one is dealing with podiatry concerns, we’re here to help.
